


Milan – Inter Milan was able to overthrow Udinese 2-0 at home. The Snake was caught by the Little Zebra thanks to a brace from Joaquin Correa.
Inter Milan host Udinese at the Giuseppe Meazza in the 11th week of Serie A, Sunday (31/11/2021) night WIB. La Beneamata appear dominant since the early minutes of the game.
They recorded possession of the ball by 67.8 percent compared to Udinese’s 32.2. However, Inter were unable to penetrate the small Zebra’s goal in the first half.
Inter’s deadlock was just broken in the 60th minute through Joaquin Correa. Correa scored again in the 68th minute to ensure Inter won 2-0.
The addition of three points makes Inter currently collect 24 points and sit in third place. Meanwhile, Udinese is in 14th position with 11 points.
The course of the match
The visitors opened the threat first when the game had only been running for five minutes. Taking advantage of a poor ball from Inter defender, Jens Stryger Larsen, had space to open fire in front of the penalty box. However, Larsen’s shot was still too weak to be easily secured by Samir Handanovic.
Inter slowly then began to dominate the game. Nicolo Barella experimented with a shot from outside the penalty box. His efforts have not yet soared.
Barella again threatened through a stab into the penalty box in the 11th minute. This time, Udinese goalkeeper Marco Silvestri appeared excellent by being able to block Barella’s shot with his foot.
Inter locked the Udinese defense into the middle of the first half. Even so, they have difficulty threatening Udinese’s goal.
Barella again spread the threat in the 40th minute. Silvestri’s volley was again secured by Silvestri.
The score was 0-0 unchanged until halftime.
After the break, Inter did not relax their attacks. They can finally break the deadlock in the 60th minute.
Goal!! Joaquin Correa gets the ball down the left side of dummy Ivan Perisic. Bringing the ball to the penalty box, Correa then fired a hard shot that Silvestri couldn’t stop. Inter lead 1-0.
Superior, Inter more comfortable in controlling the ball. The Snake could have doubled the lead in the 67th minute again from Correa.
Goal!! Denzel Dumfries was freed from the guard on the right after receiving a measured pass from Barella. Dumfries provided a pull pass to Correa which was immediately completed into a goal. The Nerazzurri moved away 2-0.
Udinese started out attacking after being left behind by two goals. In the 79th minute, Roberto Pereyra launched a hard kick from outside the penalty box. However, his efforts are still soaring thin.
Udinese threatened again in the 82nd minute from Gerard Deulofeu’s strike on the right. Handanovic can still dodge his shot.
Handanovic returned to action in the 87th minute. He saved Tolgay Arslan’s shot from a tight angle.
The score 2-0 for Inter lasted until the game was over.
